Exhibitions

Claire Louise Photography has been featured in several exhibitions across the UK, celebrating documentary photography, portraiture and visual storytelling.

In April 2025, Claire presented her debut solo exhibition, Behind the Art, in Keel Square, Sunderland. Created in collaboration with Pink Collar Gallery, the exhibition celebrated emerging working-class artists, offering an intimate insight into the people behind the creativity and the stories that shape their work.

Following this, Claire's documentary project Between Shouts was exhibited as part of the University of Sunderland Degree Show, which opened on 12 June 2026. The project explored the lives of Sunderland RNLI volunteers beyond emergency callouts, documenting the quieter moments, friendships and dedication that exist between shouts. The work formed part of Claire's First Class BA (Hons) Photography, Video and Digital Imaging degree, awarded by the University of Sunderland in July 2026.

Claire was also selected to exhibit in the prestigious Photo Portrait Now 2026 exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Opening on 7 May and running until 18 September 2026, the exhibition showcases contemporary portrait photography from across the UK and is a significant milestone in Claire's photographic journey.

Each exhibition represents an important chapter in Claire's development as a documentary photographer, reflecting her passion for telling authentic stories through thoughtful, engaging imagery.
